Advantages:
Sorbents possess high sorption ability and rather high water repellency (keeping buoyancy even after full saturation).
Recommendations about utilization and storage:
The recommended way of elimination of the fulfilled sorbents is burning. The burning mode, or the choice of different way of elimination depends on chemical properties of the absorbed substances. The cindery rest when burning no more than 2% of the mass of pure sorbent.
To store in the dry room at normal temperature, whenever possible, to protect from hit of direct sunshine.
For the purpose of preservation of sorption ability sorbents need to be stored so that they were exposed to the smallest loading. Carpets can be stored beyond all bounds long only in vertical position. The same recommendations concern transportation and other manipulations with sorbents.
