Ceramsite sand, Sand ceramsite
Description
Ceramsite sand — filler for light concrete and solutions with a size of particles from 0,14 to 5 mm is received when roasting a clay trifle in the rotating and mine furnaces or crushing of larger pieces of expanded clay.
Production of ceramsite sand on usual technology in the rotating furnace is inefficient. Some impurity of sandy fraction turns out by production of ceramsite gravel due to destruction of part of granules in the course of heat treatment, however it rather heavy as small particles of clay raw materials practically do not distend (reserves of gas generation are settled earlier, than clay passes into a pyroplastic state). Besides, in a zone of high temperatures small granules are warmed stronger large, at the same time, perhaps, their oplavleniye and sticking to gravel grains.
At many enterprises ceramsite sand is received crushing of ceramsite gravel, mainly in roll crushers. Prime cost of shredded ceramsite sand is high not only in connection with additional costs of crushing, but mainly because a sand exit is always less than the volume of crushed gravel. The coefficient of an exit of sand makes 0,4 — 0,7, i.e. on average from 1 m3 of gravel receive only about 0,5 m3 of shredded keramzity sand. At the same time its bulk density almost twice increases.
Preparation of constructional heat-insulating concrete, fillings (floors, blocks, panels). Heat-insulating and sound-proof fillings.
